We offer animation and documentary workshops to children, people who have brain injury and people at risk of social exclusion. Every workshop is adapted to the needs of each group, trying to provide the participants with the necesry media to learn and express themselves.

// ANIMATION WORKSHOPS //

The first part of these workshops makes an approximation to the pre-cinematic and optical toys, having some of them constructed, as the thaumatrope and the zoetrope.

The second part has as purpose to create short films realized with animation, using simple and intuitive techniques. In small groups we work with a topic of their environment, an abstract motive or an imaginary story.

The animation techniques develops the perception of the movement that we have of ourselves, of the nature, of the animals, of the vehicles… We work the pace, the duration, the pauses and the speed.

// DOCUMENTARY WORKSHOPS //

The documentary workshops are offered principally to people at risk of social exclusion. We want to provide them with a way to express themselves and talk about subjects they like and know about. A topic of common interest has to be chosen, which provokes different opinions and which generates debate in the teamwork. Sharing the personal opinions and taking decisions we obtain the material for the screenplay and the documentary shooting.

The workshops addressed to people who have brain injury wants to develop principally their creativity, the participation and the teamwork. The workshop is for the most part practical and we make activities that offer short-term results, and stimulate their aptitudes to memorize and remember the work of previous days. They are motivated to contribute with ideas, to decide what is what they want to record and to have confidence and initiative.
